Business Development Associate

Source and Summit Co. is looking for a fulltime Business Development Associate that is highly motivated and is interested in the energy and environmental industry. A large part of this job will involve cold calling to build company contacts, client base and Sales Force database. This position will require finesse, people skills and the ability to conduct market research in the Energy field to find potential sales and business development leads. The ideal candidate is someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is a self starter, a quick learner and is highly motivated and energetic. Some sales, marketing or customer service experience is preferred. This is the perfect job for a smart, hardworking, marketing-oriented, people person interested in being well compensated for results.

Job Responsibilities:
• Work directly with the original entrepreneurs and energy sector veterans, in their most recent company project.
• Function efficiently on a team that is young, driven, casual-dressing, multi-cultural, goal-oriented and hardworking.
• Cold call prospects to get meetings for Senior Sales Person.
• Perform market research on leads and initiate marketing campaigns to target potential prospects.
• Maintain customer relations via calling/emailing.
• Grow and maintain Sales Force database.

Education:

A minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent sales/customer service experience required. A bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation:

Salary: $30,000 per year + commission.
Benefits: health and dental insurance compensation of $3,600 per year.
Vacation: 2 weeks.
