Source and Summit Co. has an exceptional team, with each member of the board bringing unique and extensive experience in various aspects of energy, manufacturing, operations, and business development.

Monal Dhabliwala

Monal Dhabliwala is founder and managing member of Source and Summit Co. With over 14 years of experience in the energy sector, Mr. Dhabliwala brings a diverse technical and financial background to the company. He has an extensive knowledge of the global energy and emissions markets. His areas of expertise include asset optimization, structuring and valuation of load and generation, and proprietary trading for power and gas. Prior to founding Source and Summit Co., he held senior positions at major utilities, banks, and energy trading companies. Mr. Dhabliwala is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Scott Connelly

Scott Connelly has more than 15 years experience in the Energy industry. He is currently a Managing Director in the commodities group at Barclays Capital. Specifically, he manages the US Power group at Barclays Capital and is responsible for all trading, risk management, structured pricing and customer flow business in the North American power and environmental markets. Prior to Barclays, Mr. Connelly held senior roles at Sempra Energy, Mirant, Powerex and British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority, all organizations with significant operations in the North American energy industry. Mr. Connelly is a graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario and attended Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia for graduate studies.

John Sodergreen

John Sodergreen brings an extensive background in energy, policy, and risk management to Source and Summit Co. Mr. Sodergreen is founder and publisher of the Scudder Publishing Group, LLC, an energy news publishing company based in the Washington, DC area. He established the firm in 1997. Mr. Sodergreen is a career news publisher and journalist having served as a group publisher and other senior roles for national news operations such as the Journal of Commerce, King Publishing Group, and others. Prior to his print career, he served as executive producer for Advanced Broadcast Media (NewsLink subsidiary) a DC-based syndicated radio production company. Mr. Sodergreen is a graduate of New England College and attended USC for graduate studies.

Mark Meersman

Mark Meersman is a business leader and recognized expert in enterprise systems, whose background spans management consulting, product management, and business operations. With 18 years of experience, his industry focus has been in manufacturing. Mr. Meersman has lead, with a hands-on approach, 10 ERP implementations of various software packages such as J.D. Edwards, Infinium, Platinum and Protean. As an employee of Marcam, he was a product manager for Protean for 4 years. Mr. Meersman is currently the founder and managing partner of IPC Global Services, providing ERP consulting, outsourcing, and support services to the manufacturing industries. IPC Global serves the Americas and European markets with strategic, management, implementation, development, and application support resources. Mr. Meersman is a graduate of Purdue University.

Leo Brenninkmeyer

Leo Brenninkmeyer has over 20 years of international business development and consulting experience. He has held leadership positions in retail, manufacturing, and service organizations. Most recently, Mr. Brenninkmeyer established and led C&A Mexico, a market leader in fashion. He also established and provided strategic support for Lucy’s Inc, which is a specialized beverage manufacturer in California. Currently, he is founder and president of Compass languages. Mr. Brenninkmeyer is a graduate of Edinburgh University.

Nate Bailey

Nate Bailey has a wide range of intelligence and operations experience. He has worked with government and military officials at the highest levels of multinational organizations. Mr. Bailey’s accomplishments include leading the development of the official intelligence policy for NATO’s mission in Afghanistan and spearheading the largest restructuring of the intelligence staff at the headquarters of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Kabul, Afghanistan. Currently, Mr. Bailey is Director of Development at Rockbridge Academy. His responsibilities include planning and financing for a new 144-acre campus. Mr. Bailey is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and attended the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School for graduate studies.
